The Yulla Kanda Trek is considered a moderate to difficult Himalayan trek. Participants should have basic physical fitness and be comfortable walking on steep mountain trails for several hours.
The best time for the trek is from June to October when the weather remains pleasant, trails are accessible, and the Himalayan landscapes are at their most beautiful.
Prior trekking experience is helpful but not mandatory. Beginners with good fitness levels and enthusiasm for adventure can also join the trek.
The trek includes a traditional homestay in Yulla Village on Day 1 and alpine/dome camping at Yulla Base Camp on Day 2.
Participants should carry trekking shoes, warm clothes, rain protection, water bottles, sunglasses, sunscreen, personal medicines, flashlight/headlamp, gloves, and a backpack suitable for mountain trekking.
