Cancellation Policy

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • The tour start at 5:30am but the pickup times will be between 4am and 5:30am
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

What To Expect

Day 1: Kullu-Manali – Peej Village – Kais Dhar

Your trek begins with a scenic drive from Kullu or Manali to the charming Peej Village, a peaceful village that serves as the starting point of your trek. The journey is filled with stunning views of the surrounding hills, verdant landscapes, and the beautiful Kullu Valley. From Peej Village, we begin our trek to Kais Dhar, a high-altitude meadow that offers expansive views of the valley and nearby peaks. This trek takes you through lush pine and deodar forests, giving you a chance to experience the natural beauty of the Kullu-Manali region up close.

After a moderate ascent, we reach Kais Dhar, where we set up camp for the night. Here, you can enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings, relax in the fresh Himalayan air, and indulge in a warm bonfire as you share stories with fellow trekkers. The area is also perfect for stargazing, offering a peaceful and awe-inspiring night under the Himachali sky.

Day 2: Kais Dhar to Chamba Garh and Return to Kais Dhar

On the second day, we begin our ascent to Tarapur Garh Top, one of the most scenic and historic points of the trek. The path winds through alpine meadows and dense forest, offering glimpses of the majestic Himalayan peaks as we climb higher. As you approach the top, the panoramic views become more stunning, with expansive views of the Kullu Valley, the distant Great Himalayan Range, and nearby villages dotting the landscape.

At Tarapur Garh Top, you will find the remnants of the Tarapur Garh Fort, an ancient structure that has stood the test of time. The fort offers a glimpse into the region’s rich history and culture, adding a unique historical touch to your trekking experience. Spend some time exploring the fort’s ruins and taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. After a fulfilling day, we descend back to Kais Dhar, where we spend another night at the campsite.

Day 3: Kais Dhar – Peej Village – Kullu Town

On the final day of the Tarapur Garh Trek, we begin our descent back to Peej Village, taking in the views of the valley and nearby hills as we retrace our steps. The descent is gradual and gives you the opportunity to reflect on the incredible journey you’ve just completed. Once we reach Peej Village, a vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Kullu town, marking the end of the trek.
