The choice of a place depends upon personal preferences and expectations from the trip. Both the partner’s general nature for example adventurous or partying and many. Thus the expectations from a trip are different for different couples.

Some couples love to go for adventure activities like Hiking, Trekking, Paragliding, and exploring their adventurous side together, while there are a couple who likes to just stay in a peaceful place and have a relaxing vacation with an amazing view. But some couples like to visit new places and love to party and visit luxurious properties.

So place selection is very much personalized and needs to be planned together to make a list of what you both like and want to do on the trip and also a budget that allows you to fulfill that plan.

However, I don’t believe in age being a thing to decide a place because, in my career as a trip advisor and the owner of a travel company, it is more about personality and liking than age. I have seen young couples planning a pilgrimage in Himachal and couples in their 60s and 70s successfully doing some of the difficult treks living their best and accompanying the young couples on their trip.
